One of the more interesting outreach activities that the CLC does is the
monthly or so band nights. The gym is opened for use to local and
national bands. Bands from California, Virginia, Georgia and elsewhere
have played. Sometimes these bands are Christian, and sometimes
secular. The musical styles vary greatly. There is generally
between 50 and 100 teenagers in attendance. Sometimes these band
nights are free, and sometimes there is a charge (usually around $5.00).
The exact times of these events vary, but are usually announced a week or
two before the actual event takes place.
