The Care Team’s purpose is to make a brief, cheerful visit to those who are hospitalized or are in a nursing home.  We enjoy showing that we are indeed “a Church that Cares.”

Each member of the team is assigned one day of the week and may visit any time that is convenient.  Some visit alone, some with a partner and some alternate month’s with their partner.  It is very uplifting to these patients to have a visit from someone from the church every day of the week!

Due to the privacy laws, hospitals no longer call the church to let us know a member is hospitalized.  Thus, we rely on being notified by the family or by a patient request.  Any time someone is hospitalized the church office would appreciate a telephone call.

The present members of the Care Team are Dave Arnett, Betty Jean Austin, Hailie Cox, Kim Giancotti, Lisa Johnston, Lee Morehouse, Lois Morehouse, Shirley Presher, Wally Sander, Dave Swanson and Joanne VanOrden.  WE WELCOME NEW TEAM MEMBERS!  Please contact Sharon Long or Dianne Deloe if this is a ministry you are interested in.  It is most rewarding and always appreciated by the recipient.
