          The Vice President shall perform the duties and assume the rights and privileges of the office of the President in the latter’s absence.  In the event of a vacancy in the office of President, The Vice President shall succeed to the office of the President for the remainder of the term.  The Vice President shall be available for whatever duties the President shall assign as his representative.
