Recognition Luncheon

 

          Twenty two new members and their families were recognized at the New Members’ Recognition Luncheon held in the CLC on Sunday, February 11.

          God continues to bless Grace Ministries with membership growth as we welcome our newest members for 2006.   In celebration of this blessing, members of the congregation gathered for a spaghetti luncheon in honor of those who have chosen to make Grace Lutheran their church home.

          The meal, featuring Jim and Virginia Randolph’s secret recipe meatballs and sauce, was prepared by Paula and Cal Abrams and their kitchen crew.  Tables were decorated by Carole Pletcher and door prizes were awarded to many in attendance.

          New members present were recognized and Lois Morehouse presented each new member with a pewter wall cross as a memento of the occasion.

          Received into membership this last year are Diane Arnett, Ron Barker, Brian and Tina Dunkle (children: Morgan and Devon), Jeannine Fowler, Laura Keesler, Arlene Klinczar, Biff and Shirley Layton, Amber Mays, Earl McCool, Bill McDermott, Brandy McKee, Violet Neely, Lance and Crystal Palmer (children: Damen and Cole), Mike Passmore, Mary Paterniti, Shawn and Beth Springer (children: Casey, Coda, and Ayrian), Jade Ueblhear, and Shannon Ueblhear (children: Jennifer and Jeana).

          As you see these folks in service or around the community, do not miss the opportunity to tell them how happy you are they are part of our church family.
