We believe at Grace that we truly are a “priesthood of
all believers” and that everyone is called to be a “Minister of Grace”. That is why we want our laity to lead
the prayers at our worship services.
There is something very “First Century” Biblical about a lay person
involved in the worship services.
The gift of intercession allows you to lift others up in prayer and to
lead our services in prayer. Most
often Prayer Ministers take a service (of their choice) for a one-month
period. During that time they would
lead the congregation in prayer. We
also encourage the prayer ministers to take the prayer request home to be prayed
over during the week.
