Extraordinary Women Simulcast

 

What an inspiring event! It was better than I had hoped for. Each speaker had something to offer as a way to see ourselves and our purpose through the eyes of God.

 There were 45 women in attendance and 4 children in the day care. Everything went smoothly. Many of the women were from outside the Bradford area with a couple ladies from Buffalo and even one from Florida. (I’m sure she was visiting friends or family and just happened to stop by.) I spoke with several women and they were thrilled at the opportunity to attend. More than a few were deeply moved by the Word of God spoken through Angela, Kay, Jennifer and Gloria. I believe everyone came away refreshed and renewed in their faith. Maybe even came to faith! It was an awesome time spent in the presence of faith-filled Christian Sojourners.

I could easily be discouraged by the small turnout, BUT I am not. The presence of God was in that place and hearts were moved by Him. That was the reason for the event……… mission accomplished! I consider the Extraordinary Women Simulcast to have been a success.
