The weekend of February 11 & 12, 2006 was very busy at Grace!  It started Saturday morning at 9:00 am with an all day seminar to train group leaders in the Crown Financial Small Group Studies Program.

          The training was provided by Buck Stevens from Crown Financial Ministries and his wife Andrea. There were about 30 people attending the training from several area churches. The event was organized by April Lang who is the area contact person for Crown.

          In the Bible God speaks to us about money concerns……2,350 times! Through these 2,350 verses of Scripture, God advises us about handling money and possessions. God has the answers to all our concerns.

          The Small Group Study is a 10 week in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions. Graduates have confirmed that marriages are being strengthened and individuals are finding their way out of debt. They are also becoming consistent savers, generous givers, and prudent consumers.  Most importantly, people are entering into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as they learn to apply His Word. Groups meet for 2 hours every week and include Scripture memorization and interactive discussions.
