On February 13, 2006 and 14, 2006 Grace Lutheran Ministries will be joined with the Rew United Methodist Church to host two nights of fellowship and sharing one of our area’s most loved traditions… Hunting.  On Monday, February 13th the dinner was held at the Rew church and Tuesday, the 14th it was held at the Grace Community Life Center.  Both events started at 6:00pm.

This was a time for all anyone of hunting age to get together to enjoy a “feast of roast beast” as Dr. Seuss would say.  Deer, elk, and moose were the main fares with some less traditional, more exotic meats on the menu as well.

The topic of hunting was no doubt the center stage, but, with Steve Chapman as the guest speaker this year, the idea of being “hunters for Christ” was interwoven with the event.  Steve is the author of the best selling book, A Look At Life From A Deer Stand.  Steve Chapman has over twenty-five years of experience sharing the stage with his wife Annie in concerts and events all across the country.  A master communicator, Steve shares his love of God’s great outdoors with songs, humor and stories that will not only entertain, but deliver the life saving message of Jesus Christ.

There was no charge for the dinners, but seats were limited at both events.  All together several hundred people took part in the events.
