This group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm.
At each and every weekly small group Bible study meeting, the Paul Bearers
always finish the study with a sharing of great meals or desserts. Breaking
bread together on some meeting nights serves to strengthen the fellowship
that develops in a small group study.
The
following is a brief statement on what this group means to two regular
attendees.
"For
us, being in a small group means many things. It has fostered open Christian
discussion on life with God and Christ. It gives us support for each other in a
variety of situations like health, family, personal difficulties, kids, job,
etc. It brings out a stronger sense of positive mental health guided by God and
Christ.
Our
group has grown far beyond a study of the Bible; we share travel, play, and so
much more. We look forward to each week’s session because it is a chance to
fellowship and laugh, not only at each other, but at ourselves. This small group
experience has enabled us to face the loss of our pastor in a positive vein
because we really believe Christ Jesus will look out for us. We feel better
about our personal relationship with Christ and recognize our involvement in
Grace’s entire congregation is just an extension of our small group Christian
family. We think, no, we know that all of our group members feel that we’re just
one big family.”
