April 2008 Update

          We have had a busy month thanks to our wonderful family here at Grace.  We are proud to announce that we made $380.70 from the baked food sale for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  We will donate this money at the Bowlathon on April 5.  We thank everyone who donated money and baked goods to make this possible.  For Passion Week, the group put together a map as well as a tape explaining Jesus’ journey to Bethany, the Mount of Olives and Jerusalem.  We hope you all enjoyed this as much as we had putting it together.  Now we will be moving on to prepare a Spaghetti Dinner that will take place on April 20.  We will have a sign-up sheet posted in the Welcome Center.  The dinner will be a free will offering.  Hope to see everyone there!

          On February 9^th, the Youth Group made 100 Valentines for the nursing home.  We will be having a baked food sale on February 23 & 24 to raise money for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  The money will be donated at the bowl-a-thon that our group will be participating in on April 5^th.
