One active ministry that our church and other area churches participate in regularly is the Nursing Home Ministry.  This Ministry helps bring the Gospel message to people of all ages who are temporarily or permanently confined to a nursing home.  Local homes visited include the Bradford Ecumenical Home, Bradford Nursing Pavilion and Bradford Manor.  In addition to the residents, staff members and other visitors are often present for services.

          A typical service provided by our team usually lasts about a half hour.  Traditional Christian hymns are sung and a short Gospel message is presented.  Participants are invited to share prayer needs and time is spent visiting individually with residents.

          This Ministry helps those confined to a nursing home know that they are not forgotten and that the Gospel is still an active part of their lives.  Those providing the Ministry feel the satisfaction and joy of sharing the Word of the Lord on a personal level.
